Sapphires 2019

Image
Well we had our first meeting at the new venue and although it was hectic and it felt we were all running around like a chicken with it's head cut off it went well. Our Speaker for the night was Sue Wood who is a milliner/Hatter and as she describes it makes "more than just a fascinator", sue told us about her dream to make hats for a living and in 2010 she started the first step towards that. Members wore hats for the night and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Onward and upward for 2019

We are moving

Sadly the community Centre which has been the home of the Sapphires i now no longer viable. The amount of ladies wishing to join the Sapphires WI, has made us think of somewhere larger we need to use. So we have moved to Little Sutton Methodist Church. Only across the main road from our old home, but larger. Here's to 2019 and fun for the Sapphires

Christmas Party

Sapphires know how to party in style, so when the annual christmas party comes around, Sapphires have fun. This year we were at the Mercure Hotel in Ellesmere Port. Good Food and a Disco and dancing till the early hours
