Our first bursary award was won by our president Adele, who decided to give it to our Secretary for all her hard work with crafters and promoting the Sapphires wherever she went and for the hard work she does for members entering the cheshire show.

Ukulelee Group

Sapphires have to be different and May's meeting certainly was that. We had a Ukulelee group come along and give us lessons on chord to play the instrument.
We had so much fun with members joining in on a singalong and also playing the chords learnt for more singing

April's meeting

We had one of our members give us a  talk for the April WI meeting. Cathy Bowness who is a flower arranger.
She brought loads of flowers/leaves/ornamants and bits and gave us several demonstrations on basics and small arrangements to try at home.
Loads of enthusiasm by members, so much so pictures went up of members who had tried out Cathy's ideas
