Christmas Party

Image
Sapphires didn't hold a meeting in December, instead they had a Christmas Party at the Woodcote House Hotel. Forty  two of our Eighty two members attended this evening and we had fun. Santa came to visit us and gave us small gifts.  We sang songs and our own sapphire version of the Twelve Days of Christmas with actions off all members.... Raffles and a disco and merriment and fun

Lest we forget

Several members of our WI have made wreaths/Banners/Knitted and Crochet Poppies. Some laminated ones and ceramic poppies have also been made. The Sapphire's have showered Little Sutton in Ellesmere Port with Poppies in remembrance of those killed in wars to enable us to live on.
