Little Sutton Sapphires WI

The Officers from Little Sutton Sapphires enjoyed their day at the Echo Arena in Liverpool along with 4500 other members. Two Resolutions where passed: Alleviating Loneliness and Plastic Soup The Sapphires dressed in blue and joined other members from the Cheshire Federation Adele our President and Kerry our Treasurer with their own AGM Selfie

Sapphires have to be different and May's meeting certainly was that. We had a Ukulelee group come along and give us lessons on chord to play the instrument. We had so much fun with members joining in on a singalong and also playing the chords learnt for more singing

We had one of our members give us a  talk for the April WI meeting. Cathy Bowness who is a flower arranger. She brought loads of flowers/leaves/ornamants and bits and gave us several demonstrations on basics and small arrangements to try at home. Loads of enthusiasm by members, so much so pictures went up of members who had tried out Cathy's ideas
